Our New Farm Manager!

The Needham Community Farm proudly introduces our new Farm Manager, Theresa Strachila.

Theresa has a deep passion for food justice and a love of growing veggies. Before joining Needham Community Farm, she managed urban farming sites and led garden education for adults and youth in

the Boston area. Her experience in sustainable agriculture also includes an apprenticeship on a CSA farm in Washington State, work exchanges with small family farms in South America and experience working on her family's gardens while growing up. Theresa is committed to creating more just food systems by building connections with communities that are denied access to local, sustainably grown food. She is eager to bring her love of food and farming to the Needham Community Farm.

We are very excited to have Theresa on our NCF team and know she will be an asset to us, and our greater Needham community, this season. If you see her around town, be sure to join us in giving her a warm welcome!
