NCF follows all standards for operating an organic farm. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or inputs. Our use of organic fertilizers, including compost, helps build a robust microbial community in the soil to support healthy, nutritious plants. We minimize runoff and nutrient leaching by taking annual soil tests and applying soil amendments only as needed to support plant needs. We also create habitats for native pollinators throughout our fields.
