We are offering 30 Produce CSA shares.
What is a CSA?
20-Week Produce CSA $625
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you subscribe to our Produce CSA, you are buying a share of our farm's harvest in advance. Beginning in early June, you will get a box of fresh vegetables grown using sustainable methods at the Needham Community Farm. Our CSA runs for 20-weeks, from late spring through the fall.
Your purchase of a CSA share gives us a consistent revenue stream and allows us to focus on good land stewardship and growing high quality food. Thank you for sharing in the risk of production and know that we will do our best to provide you with fresh, in-season vegetables at an average value of $31 - $32 per week throughout the 20-week season.
What do you get?
The contents of your weekly CSA box will vary based on the season. In June, you will receive salad mixes, radishes, herbs, kale, and other greens. During the summer, you will receive tomatoes, peppers, and more. Your box will meet the produce needs of a family of 3-4 (or 1-2 vegetarians) for the week.
CSA pick-up will be on Tuesday or Friday evenings. Our 2023 CSA registration opens Wednesday, March 1.
